# The Proposal Safety List

Use this before any Upwork proposal is sent. A draft is not ready until every box below is checked or clearly marked “not needed.”

## 1. Check the job

- [ ] I read the full job, not only the search card.
- [ ] The work matches a service I actually sell.
- [ ] I meet every must-have rule in the post.
- [ ] I can prove the claims I plan to make.
- [ ] The client, scope, timeline, and pay make sense.
- [ ] I know the exact Connect cost.
- [ ] I checked whether I already have an invite or proposal for this job.

## 2. Check the proposal

- [ ] The first lines talk about this client’s problem.
- [ ] Every claim is true and can be backed up.
- [ ] Every screening answer is complete.
- [ ] The rate or fixed price is exactly what I want to send.
- [ ] Any boost amount is visible and approved.
- [ ] Every attachment is correct and safe to share.
- [ ] There are no private client names, secrets, or copied claims.

## 3. Make the final choice

```text
Job title: __________________________________________
Job URL or UID: ____________________________________
Rate or fixed price: _______________________________
Base Connect cost: _________________________________
Boost Connects, if any: ____________________________
Attachments: ______________________________________
My choice:  [ ] APPROVE   [ ] REVISE   [ ] SKIP
Why: __________________________________________________
________________________________________________________
```

Nothing should be sent until you make the final choice.
